Hi, I’m Gianluca Nobile, a creative from Genk, Belgium.
I’m a proud father of two amazing sons, and my life revolves around three things: family, art, and passion. My creative journey is a reflection of who I am, shaped by diverse influences, fueled by curiosity, and driven by a deep need to express myself.
Photography is where everything comes together for me. Especially candid and street photography, capturing unposed, fleeting moments that speak volumes without needing words. I’m drawn to those raw, often-overlooked interactions between people and their surroundings. They tell honest stories, full of emotion and detail.
My love for visual storytelling started early. I grew up in a home where cameras were always around. My dad was passionate about photography and videography, and that enthusiasm rubbed off on me. As a kid, I was constantly drawing and sketching—always looking for ways to create something meaningful. Those early experiences laid the foundation for everything that followed.
In my teenage years, skateboarding introduced me to the world of Hip Hop. I got hooked on graffiti, breakdancing, and rapping. What inspired me most was the DIY spirit, no fancy gear, just creativity, dedication, and hustle. That mindset stuck with me across all the disciplines I later explored.
I ended up following my older brother to art school, where I studied photography. Back then, it was all analog... loading film, developing in the darkroom, printing by hand. Even though I didn’t finish my studies, I walked away with solid skills in photography, graphic design, and audiovisual storytelling, tools I still use today.
Since then, my creative path has taken many shapes: graffiti and hand lettering, rapping and producing music under the name Don Luca, graphic design, and video production. Each project has added another layer to my creative identity and given me the chance to collaborate with all kinds of talented people.
For over 10 years, I also worked in youth coaching—supporting young creatives and sharing what I’ve learned along the way. Helping others tap into their potential and find their own voice was one of the most rewarding parts of my journey.
Today, photography is my main focus. Every shot I take is a reflection of my story so far, told through a lens, shaped by everything I’ve lived, and always grounded in authenticity.
